There’s So Much to see in Portugal
Sometimes we walk through beautiful places every day and barely stop to notice. That’s because life gets in the way and we are normally too busy thinking about other things. It’s only when you take a pause that you see how much is truly wonderful. Even within the concrete jungle, you can see remarkable sunsets and flowers blooming in unexpected places.
If you’re looking to get away to a truly picturesque destination, then Portugal is a great option. With amazing pink and orange sunsets from Porto, cliffs hewn from the Atlantic Ocean, and the lights of Lisbon as you sample the local wine, Portugal has a number of delights to entice travelers.
Portugal’s location means that the climate is mild, with warm sunny summers and temperate winters. It’s also inexpensive and there’s plenty to explore in the cities and countryside. Here are some hidden gems that are less-visited:
Serra da Estrela Mountains
Travel to the center of Portugal and you’ll find the Serra de Estrela mountain range. As well as being an area of natural beauty, it is great for horse riding, hiking, and mountain biking. In winter, you can even ski there. Seek out the Burel factory, to see unusual shepherd’s cloaks...
Parque Natural da Arràbida
This area has lots of natural vegetation and species that call it home. It’s situated right by the sea too, so you have the best of sea and land. This natural park is just south of Lisbon, so it’s great for day trips from the capital.
Olhao
A hidden gem on the Algarve coast, this fishing town is just 20 minutes from the airport but is surprisingly chilled. The local markets are wonderful and the craft shops hold lots of surprises too. The water is perfect for swimming, so pack your trunks for a day at the beach.

She said in a recent interview that the food is incredible near Lake Como. recently revealed that for her, there's no place quite like Lake Como in Italy, and the place will always have sentimental value for her.
Jennifer Aniston - Cabo San Lucas
Jennifer Aniston has a string of movie hits to her name, and of course, became a star playing Rachel in Friends. She can probably book a holiday anywhere she likes, but she favors the One and Only Palmilla resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She has been snapped there with her famous buddies, Courtney Cox and Jason Bateman. She has partied there for New Year too.
Demi Lovato - Kenya
Pop superstar Demi Lovato definitely needs a vacation sometimes. They have had a turbulent life, and have learned the importance of taking proper breaks.
